OUR PRODUCTION TEAM

Headed by multiple Emmy Award winning Sports Event Producer Mike Roth, we will use his 30+ years of broadcast experience and creativity to produce high quality events that are exciting to watch, engaging, and will help build the Battleground Brand.

Productions will include multiple broadcast cameras, theatrical lighting and a seasoned crew to enhance the viewing experience. Top color commentators and announcers from the combat sports world will round out the broadcast team.

WHAT MAKES BATTLEGROUND UNIQUE TO OTHER COMBAT COMPETITIONS?

Our “Team Concept” which will consist of 4 Team (3 fighters per team) tournament event followed on the last day by a live 8-man bracket competition called "Battleground Baddest Man."

Through our partner and VP of Talent, Joe Warren, a 4-time World Champion in wrestling and Bellator MMA, we will engage the sports’ top Athletes.

Through our partner and VP of Talent, Joe Warren, a 4-time World Champion in wrestling and Bellator MMA, we will engage the sports’ top Athletes. Elite MMA, Wrestling Clubs and RegionalTraining Centers, Submission Grappling and Jiu- JitsuClubs/Organizations will form their own 3-fighter (2 men/1 woman) teams to participate. Bracket events will also utilize this pool of athletes.

With Joe’s 25 years of experience in the fight game and continued involvement with USA Wrestling as well as training of both UFC and Bellator fighters at the world renowned “Factory X” in Denver, we are committed to putting together some of the most exciting lineups in the world. We incorporate a strategic component where one team will choose its first combatant and the other team will have 1 minute to send out the fighter of their choice for that match. All events are submission-only with no in-match scoring except for a team point for each submission.
